After earning a bachelor’s degree in science from Texas A&M University I went through an alternate certification program to become a certified science teacher. I have taught for 15 years, mainly science but math also, from grades 5th – 12th. In 2013, I earned a masters in educational leadership and administration. Recently, I have become involved with professional development, leading a workshop at the Conference for the Advancement of Science Teaching in San Antonio, TX. Two articles that I wrote have been published in the Science Teachers Association of Texas “STATellite” publication (April 2016 and January 2017). The first on project based learning and the second on integrating technology in the classroom.
I am currently teaching PreAP Geometry and AP Calculus in Gilmer, TX. Check out some of my resources on Teachers Pay Teachers.
